Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco – Km 104 – Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu – Aguas Calientes
  • Early morning pickup from Cusco (around 4:00 AM).
  •  Train ride to Km 104, the starting point of the trek.
  •  Hike up to Wiñay Wayna, one of the most beautiful Inca sites.
  •  Continue hiking to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) for the first view of Machu Picchu.
  •  Short visit to Machu Picchu before heading to Aguas Calientes.
  •  Overnight stay in a hotel in Aguas Calientes.
Day 2: Machu Picchu – Cusco
  • Early morning visit to Machu Picchu for a guided tour (2–3 hours).
  •  Free time to explore on your own or hike Huayna Picchu (optional).
  • Train back to Ollantaytambo.
  • Return to Cusco by bus.
